The potential buyers of our house have now fleeced us for over a grand in unnecessary permits, inspections, and concessions, and we're nearly final on the sale. We just need confirmation that they have a mortgage, and we're ready to break ground on our new home.
This brown and un-awe-inspiring lot will soon be our home-sweet-home. Look, there's already a tree in our front yard!
While we wait (and wait... and wait...) on our buyers and their baraccuda of a real estate agent, we've been keeping busy by checking out appliances at Lowes.
And when the buyers and their drama and the thought of our new unmanageable mortgage start to get me stressed, I pack. A lot. I have our china cabinet and half of the kitchen in boxes already.
