Most weekends we spend as a family. We go to Lowe's, get groceries at Wegman's, and take a nap together in the afternoon. But sometimes we split up, just because it's easier. This past Saturday Mark needed to return cans. He took J along while K was helping me in the garden.

One of the things about "splitting up" is that daddy can get away with things mommy would normally put an end to right away. Like letting J help with the can return machine.
Mommy's don't let little boys do this. There are signs on every single machine stating that employees under the age of 17 are not even allowed to operate the machines. Not to mention that the vast majority of the cans being returned are for Miller Lite.
But whatever. Boys time builds character. And attracts germs. But it's still important.
