There's nothing like a wedding to bring old friends together again. This past weekend we gathered for Denise & Tim's wedding in Canandaigua.
Terry and Aaron came in from Buffalo, and Rachel drove up from NYC. Here we are all smiling and behaving ourselves after the service at St. Mary's.
... but that didn't last long. There's also something about weddings that brings out the drinker in old friends. Here we are upon arrival at Bristol Harbor. Everyone is smiling. Everyone is sober.
... And here we are 15 minutes later. In the bar because the open bar was closed for the duration of dinner.
Drinking has been known to cause strange side-effects for people. Like making people think that they have the ability to dance. Or making them think that the electric slide is cool (it's not). Notice that I am TAKING the picture of the silly dance.
People who consume alcohol have been known to pose in a strange manner.
And they have even been known to use sharpie markers to draw moustaches on their fingers.
Alcohol even has the ability to convince us that we should still be consuming it long after the party has ended. Again, me taking the picture. How can you girls drink that stuff??????
Yes, dear alcohol, what would we ever do without your presence at social functions? I suppose we would behave.
