Jacob is SO excited that our house is nearly finished! A week from today we do our final walk through, and then on July 31st we're ready to close! Whether or not the bank will be ready with our mortgage is another story...
If we don't close on the 31st our refridgerator is still being delivered on the following day. And our U-Haul is reserved for that day too. And the POD will be delivered early the next week... so lets all hope that M&T bank can get their act together and get us closed on time.
In the meantime, we've been busy breaking into our house every night to see the progress. On Thursday a few of the floors were in. By Saturday we had a kitchen and all of the bathrooms had cabinets. These guys work fast!
Thankfully the cabinets match the floors which match the counter tops. A difficult feat considering they were all picked out at three separate times.
The fireplace is also finished, and ready for the first cold this fall.
"Bye bye now! Ya'll come back and visit us (and help us move in) in two more weeks!"
