Everyone needs friends who are willing to try crazy things. After the Aerial Arts adventure, we tried fencing!
Another Groupon deal- $25 to attend an Introduction to Fencing class at Rochester Fencing Club.
We started with foam swords to learn footwork, then we were suited up in protective gear and tried Rapier and Sabre.
There was a lot less finesse with sabre (you literally get a point for slashing at each other instead of hitting a precise target). It was a lot of fun!
