Mother's Day

 I have to admit- before I had children of my own I looked at other mother's macaroni necklaces with a bit of distain.  I mean, I know you love your kid and all, but you're wearing pasta around your neck like it's the crown jewels.  I just didn't get it.

Now that I'm a mom I guess I get it.  Kind of.  I still refuse to wear a macaroni necklace.  But a picnic that my son made with his class melts my heart. 

Especially when I get to watch him do "the bean bag boogie."
