We knew it wouldn't be a late night out- the kids had to be picked up by 8:30- but three hours was still plenty of time to enjoy ourselves. And there was wine involved. Cheap wine. I was excited.
The drop-off at the Y went relatively smoothly. Having a few other kids there that the kids knew helped. 
And then we snuck out and walked down to the first location, Wickedly Scent, to buy our glasses for the night. A $5 glass bought us nearly unlimited samples at each of the wineries for the rest of the night.
The length of the lines and the quality of the wines depended on the shop, but we made the rounds with a few friends and had a great time. We even did some shopping along the way. 
Our final stop for the night was Sweet Expressions. As we bellied up to the make-shift bar we noticed that the promised chocolate was all gone. Luckily they had enough on hand to bring us some more out. Us ladies were well pleased.
By the time we had finished the wine walk it was nearly 7pm, and we had an hour and a half to grab dinner. After dinner at Eddie O'Brien's we returned to the Y to pick up the kids. They were well-fed, but tired and ready to go home.
They had a great night playing with their friends, we had a great night with ours. Win-win.
