Last night was the Women of Distinction Event held by the Professional Women of the Finger Lakes. There were 20 nominees in 6 categories- all amazing women from our community!
I love this event. The accomplishments of these women is unbelievable. (And the chocolate favors from Sweet Expressions are worth the ticket price alone!)
But best of all, the money earned goes towards scholarships for High School graduates and adult women returning to school after a break. Yearly averages are $5,000 to local women. Now THAT is impressive.
Thank you to my nominees for being good sports- and to Denise, Maggie and the organizing committee! It was a great night!
