First floor, check!

All right, another update. Our buyers now want out of the contract, and have asked our attorney what we would be willing to accept in settlement. Ummm... the entire purchase price of the house. Thank you to DAWN Freakin' KANE of HUNT REALTY for spooking the buyers about this house.

But on to less stressful subjects (or is it??) we have more pictures of the new house. Since the hole in the ground that sat for a week without any progress, they've really started moving. In one week they laid the decking and framed the first floor. They move fast! Here we are with a few walls. Enough to give us an idea of size. It seems so small!

This is the living room, the cut-out is for the fireplace.Here is our egress window, which basically is a full-sized window in the basement to allow more daylight and eventually allow us to finish off a room down there.
